Cimetidine is one of the products that Dr. Dressler recommends in the Dog Cancer Survival Guide for managing side-effects. Cimetidine, or the over-the-counter drug Tagamet, is recommended for nausea and vomiting.
In humans, it has also shown to help decrease cancer cell spread and can help to alleviate some forms of immune suppression– which is caused by the release of histamine.
